Senior Digital Impact Associate (G-7)

About the role

The Senior Digital Impact Associate will support UNICEF’s ICT systems in Maradi, Niger. This senior‑level position involves overseeing desktop and server administration, hardware and software management, and ensuring the security of digital assets across the country office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ICT office customer service and technical support for end‑users.
• Manage ICT administration tasks, including desktop administration and server operations.
• Implement cybersecurity measures and protect digital assets.
• Lead strategic planning and implementation of ICT projects and system upgrades.
• Serve as a focal point for testing and deploying new application releases and modules.
• Offer procedural leadership to junior staff and, where required, supervise team members.

Required profile

• Secondary education in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant information technology experience, with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient/Fluent French language skills.
• Experience in fragile or humanitarian settings is desirable.
• Knowledge of an additional UN language or local language is a plus.
