NLP Data Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented NLP Data Annotator to help build cutting‑edge natural language processing systems. Working remotely, you will label, classify and evaluate text and speech data that powers AI models such as chatbots, search engines and language‑understanding tools.

Key responsibilities

• Read and analyse text or audio data following detailed annotation guidelines.
• Perform tasks including sentiment labeling, intent classification, entity tagging and text categorisation.
• Maintain high accuracy and consistency while meeting productivity and quality targets.
• Conduct quality checks, resolve annotation discrepancies and provide feedback to improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, English, Communications, Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience with large language model training datasets.
• Strong reading comprehension and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with data formats: JSON, XML, CSV.
• Knowledge of evaluation metrics such as precision, recall and F1‑score.
• Experience working with APIs and data pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience handling LLM training datasets.
