Senior Digital Impact Associate (G-7)

About the role

The Senior Digital Impact Associate will lead the management and optimisation of UNICEF’s ICT environment in Maradi, ensuring reliable desktop, server and digital asset operations. This senior position combines technical expertise with strategic planning to support the delivery of UNICEF programmes in a challenging context.

Key responsibilities

• Administer desktop and server infrastructures, including hardware, software and user support.
• Provide technical support for testing, rollout and maintenance of new application releases and modules.
• Lead system administration tasks and act as focal point for ICT projects.
• Deliver ICT office customer service and ensure cybersecurity and protection of digital assets.
• Contribute to strategic ICT planning and implementation aligned with UNICEF objectives.

Required profile

• Secondary education or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in information technology, with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in French (fluent) and preferably another UN language.
• Experience working at country level in development, fragile or humanitarian settings.
