Senior Digital Impact Associate (G-7)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Senior Digital Impact Associate to lead specialized ICT activities in Maradi, Niger. The role involves managing desktop and server environments, supporting hardware and software, and ensuring the secure operation of digital assets across the country office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ICT office customer service and technical support for new application releases and system modules.
• Administer desktop systems, server operations, and hardware/software assets.
• Lead cybersecurity measures and protect digital assets.
• Participate in strategic ICT planning and implementation projects.
• Offer procedural guidance to junior staff and act as focal point for system projects.

Required profile

• Secondary education in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience with systematic troubleshooting.
• Fluent French language proficiency.
• Experience in fragile, humanitarian or development settings is desirable.
• Knowledge of an additional UN language or local language is a plus.
