Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing, annotating, and validating backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system design outputs. The role bridges software engineering expertise with data annotation to improve AI models that understand backend workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows.
• Label datasets that represent backend processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards of server‑side code.
• Provide structured engineering feedback and reasoning for each annotation.
• Assess logic accuracy and performance of server‑side implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• Prior experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
