Senior Logistics Intelligence & Supply Chain Performance Advisor (DOS LEAP Global)

About the role

The Advisor will work with Niger's National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) to strengthen institutional capacities in logistics intelligence, quantification, data analysis and supply‑chain performance. The focus is on improving the availability of malaria commodities through technical support, skills transfer and sustainable tool development.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze logistics data from DHIS2 and eLMIS/Open mSupply, develop validation and triangulation mechanisms, and create analytical dashboards.
• Institutionalize the Quantification Analytics Tool (QAT) as the national reference for supply forecasting, reduce reliance on parallel Excel files and formalize SOPs.
• Develop performance indicators and dashboards for warehousing and distribution, identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions.
• Create a supply‑chain risk register, define alert thresholds, and support early‑warning and stock‑out mitigation plans.
• Support pharmaceutical waste management by designing tracking tools, SOPs and monitoring incineration activities.
