Senior Digital Impact Associate – ICT Systems Specialist

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Senior Digital Impact Associate to lead and support ICT systems in Maradi, Niger. The role combines technical expertise with strategic planning to ensure reliable digital services for staff and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Administer desktop environments, servers, hardware and software across the office.
• Provide technical support for testing, rollout and maintenance of new application releases, modules and functionalities.
• Lead procedural guidance for junior staff and act as focal point for system‑wide projects.
• Deliver ICT office customer service, system administration, cybersecurity and digital asset protection.
• Contribute to strategic planning and implementation of ICT initiatives.

Required profile

• Secondary education in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient/Fluent French; knowledge of another UN language is a plus.
• Experience in fragile, humanitarian or development settings is desirable.
