Portfolio Manager, Inclusive Health Initiative (IHI) – French Speaking

About the role

The Portfolio Manager supports the design and delivery of Inclusive Health Initiative (IHI) programmes, ensuring they align with country goals and global best practices in eye health, ear and hearing care, and physical rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide programmatic support in project design and ensure alignment with IHI strategy and international best practices.
• Guide IHI project planning, producing detailed documentation for assigned countries.
• Monitor implementation, contribute to evaluations and integrate lessons learned into future planning.
• Deliver training on inclusive health topics to country office and partner staff.
• Develop high‑quality funding applications and monitor health sector trends to inform programme implementation.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies or a related field.
• At least 7 years of international development experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on health programmes.
• Strong understanding of international health trends, policy frameworks and project cycle management.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills, with fluency in French and English.
• Commitment to disability inclusion, safeguarding principles and CBM’s Christian values.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
