About the role
We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Content Management System applications such as WordPress, Drupal, or Craft CMS. The role is fully remote and offers a contract‑based, full‑time engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Create, manage, and scale customized CMS applications, including custom themes, modules, and plugins.
- Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and optimise site performance.
- Configure custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing experience for non‑technical users.
- Maintain site security, handle backups, updates, and user authentication.
- Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
- Collaborate daily with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders.
- Document code and technical details for future maintenance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development or equivalent experience.
- 3‑5 years of professional software development focused on CMS technologies.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting and attention to design accuracy.
Required skills
- HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+)
- Server‑side languages: PHP, Python, Ruby
- CMS platforms: WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, Magento
- API integration and database management
- Technical SEO, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics
