AI Trainer – LLM & Generative AI Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented AI Trainer to help shape the next generation of large language models and generative AI systems. You will work remotely with a global team, designing training workflows, annotating data, and evaluating model performance across diverse domains.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage end‑to‑end training pipelines, including supervised fine‑tuning (SFT), reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), and red‑team exercises.
• Develop complex prompt templates and testing scenarios for coding, creative writing, reasoning, and multilingual tasks.
• Define and maintain rubrics that measure model output quality and document findings.
• Analyze model failures, identify sources of bias or hallucination, and create high‑quality “golden datasets.”
• Guide junior trainers and annotators, ensuring consistency across the global team.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and product managers to translate research goals into actionable training tasks.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose improvements to annotation tools and evaluation platforms.
• Design strategies for generating synthetic data to strengthen model robustness.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant technical field such as software engineering or computer science.
• Strong analytical ability to dissect complex problems and articulate abstract concepts.
• Comfort reading technical papers and staying current with AI safety research.
• Experience using data analysis or metrics to justify training decisions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to shift between technical (e.g., ranking code) and creative (e.g., writing fiction) tasks.
