Agent Operations Territory Lead

About the role

Wave is expanding its agent network across Niger to bring cashless financial services to underserved communities. As an Agent Operations Territory Lead, you will oversee product roll‑outs, recruit and train agents, and ensure compliance and performance across multiple cities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of agent openers to recruit, train and onboard agents in your assigned territory.
• Ensure agents meet legal, policy and quality standards, including contract understanding, fraud management and cash‑handling procedures.
• Collaborate with branding, liquidity and risk teams to equip agents, monitor cash float and address emerging issues.
• Conduct routine field visits, assess performance, close under‑performing agents and recover Wave equipment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all agents acquiring Wave products in the territory.
• Promote excellent customer service among distributors and agents.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and proficient in the local language of the assigned city.
• Minimum 2 years experience managing an agent network in Niger, including at least 1 year leading field‑based teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• Willingness to be based in, or relocate to, Tahoua, Arlit, Dogondoutchi or Maradi.
• Valid work authorization for Niger.
