Senior Recruiter – Lead Hiring in Niger

About the role

Wave is expanding its operations in Niger and needs a mission‑driven Senior Recruiter to own end‑to‑end hiring for the market. You will work closely with the People team and hiring managers to attract, assess and close top talent that aligns with Wave’s cashless‑Africa vision.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, with a focus on leadership and business‑critical positions in Niger.
• Design and execute sourcing strategies tailored to the local market while contributing to regional talent pipelines.
• Partner with hiring managers to define hiring plans, interview processes and timelines.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and act as an ambassador of Wave’s mission and culture.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes, identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
• Use data and analytics to monitor pipeline health, optimise hiring funnels and provide insights.
• Maintain high‑quality data in the Greenhouse ATS for accurate reporting.
• Drive inclusive hiring practices to build diverse, high‑performing teams.
• Mentor junior recruiters and help shape the regional Talent function.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading full‑cycle recruitment, preferably in fast‑growing environments.
• Strong understanding of the Niger labour market and ability to build local talent pipelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate metrics into action.
• Commitment to high hiring standards and inclusive hiring.
