Agent Operations Territory Lead

About the role

Wave is expanding its agent network across Niger to bring cashless financial services to underserved communities. As an Agent Operations Territory Lead, you will oversee product roll‑outs, manage agent recruitment and training, and ensure compliance and performance across multiple cities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of agent openers to recruit, onboard and train agents in your territory.
• Ensure agents meet legal, policy and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the BTL team to provide branding and equipment for agents.
• Work with the liquidity team to monitor cash and float availability at agent locations.
• Conduct regular field visits to assess risk, resolve issues and evaluate performance.
• Identify under‑performing agents, close accounts, recover Wave assets and remove branding materials.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all agents acquiring Wave products in the region.
• Promote excellent customer service among distributors and agents.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and proficient in the local language.
• Minimum 2 years experience managing an agent network in Niger, including at least 1 year leading field‑based teams.
• Willingness to relocate to Tahoua, Arlit, Dogondoutchi or Maradi.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field.
