Operations Training Lead

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Training Lead to shape and execute the training strategy for our growing agent network in Niger. Based in Niamey, you will work closely with regional operations teams to ensure agents receive high‑quality, data‑driven training that supports our mission of a cashless Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and define country‑wide training objectives.
• Lead the regional operations team in identifying opportunities to improve operational execution.
• Determine training requirements by reviewing country strategies and coaching outcomes.
• Translate training materials into English and French, and oversee content localisation.
• Develop and deliver training sessions, both in‑person and remotely, including video and audio recordings.
• Visit agents on the field to address action items and gather feedback.
• Coordinate rollout of new initiatives with regional and territory leads.
• Manage training administration across Slack, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, report results, and implement continuous improvements.
• Plan and execute the transition from face‑to‑face to digital training formats.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs for field teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data‑driven insights to improve training content.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
• Willingness to travel within Niger and work from the Niamey office.
• Legal authorization to work in Niger.
