Strategy & Integrated Programs Director

About the role

World Vision Niger is seeking a senior leader to drive the implementation of its Strategy and Integrated Programme model. The role focuses on improving the wellbeing and resilience of vulnerable children, families, and communities across Niger.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of World Vision’s Global Strategy and WARO priorities within Niger.
• Ensure all programmes and projects are delivered effectively, meeting World Vision policies and standards.
• Manage relationships with national, regional, and global partners, donors, and technical networks.
• Oversee operational and programmatic planning, guaranteeing operational effectiveness.
• Promote innovation, servant‑leadership, and succession planning.
• Drive sustainability actions and provide evidence of impact.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in similar senior programme or project management roles.
• Experience in emergency response, business continuity, and crisis management.
• Proven ability to prepare proposals for development agencies.
• Strategic and systemic thinking with strong problem‑solving and independent judgment.
• Leadership and people‑management experience.
• Master’s degree in Social Project Management, Local Development, Programme Management, Social Policies, Human Rights or Children’s Rights.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating system.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite.
