Marketing Manager

About the role

Wave is building the first cashless continent in Africa. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead both Above‑the‑Line (ATL) and Below‑the‑Line (BTL) activities, aligning campaigns with our growth objectives and driving user acquisition across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute ATL strategies (TV, radio, print) and BTL tactics (events, promotions, on‑ground activations) that support Wave’s expansion goals.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design integrated campaigns that boost brand awareness and user growth.
• Manage relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure timely and effective delivery of marketing initiatives.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to optimise future activities.
• Prepare regular reports on ATL and BTL effectiveness, highlighting key metrics and recommendations.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing marketing team.
