Health Officer (NO-2) – Temporary Position

About the role

The Health Officer supports the Chief Field Office in delivering UNICEF's Health Programme in Niger, from planning through to results delivery. This temporary position (364 days) provides technical, operational and administrative assistance across the programme lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support programme development, planning and monitoring to ensure effective implementation of health interventions.
• Provide technical and operational assistance for health programme delivery, including capacity building and partnership development.
• Manage programme documentation, reporting and evaluation of results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, nutrition, pediatric health, health policy, epidemiology or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in public health planning, nutrition or maternal and neonatal health, and health emergency/humanitarian preparedness.
• Fluency in French; English knowledge is desirable.
