Agent Liquidity Lead

About the role

Wave is looking for an Agent Liquidity Lead to manage cash and liquidity operations across its agent network in Niger. You will ensure agents have sufficient cash, optimise cash‑in‑transit logistics and uphold security standards while supporting rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a team to handle the expanding Wave environment in Niger.
• Monitor nationwide liquidity status and identify priority areas for improvement.
• Plan and coordinate cash logistics among agents, banks, cash‑in‑transit firms and premium agents to achieve seamless monthly cash flow.
• Maintain strict adherence to security standards and service level agreements.
• Report challenges proactively and support other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Fluency in English, French and a local language.
• 5+ years experience in cash movements, cash‑in‑transit or treasury and 2+ years in team management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or a comparable field.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time within Niger.
• Strong integrity and proven customer relationship management experience.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets.
