Treasury Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Treasury Manager to design and implement cash‑flow strategies across the Democratic Republic of Congo, optimise currency‑exchange operations and ensure liquidity for our money‑transfer service. The role is data‑driven and will be based in our Niamey office, with occasional field travel.

Key responsibilities

• Propose and implement cash‑rebalancing solutions across the agent network to optimise liquidity.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with banking institutions.
• Manage daily banking operations, monitor balances, fees and transaction activity.
• Identify liquidity challenges and develop innovative strategies to meet cash‑flow needs.
• Oversee FX operations with deep knowledge of the Niger forex market.
• Forecast cash requirements and maintain optimal bank‑account balances.
• Manage e‑float creation, destruction and buffer levels.
• Coordinate timely cash collection and deposit by agents.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French.
• 7 + years of experience in treasury, cash‑management or related operations.
• Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven decision making.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and spreadsheet modelling.
• Cash‑management tools and financial forecasting.
• FX operations and currency‑exchange handling.
