Pipeline Integrity Engineer

About the role

The Pipeline Integrity Engineer will lead the development and execution of integrity management programs for pipelines operating in Niger. You will ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and digital construction initiatives while safeguarding asset performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pipeline integrity management rules, manuals, and work instructions aligned with corporate frameworks.
• Prepare annual work programs, budgets, performance tracking, and comprehensive summary reports.
• Conduct risk identification, quantitative risk assessments, and High‑Consequence Area (HCA) analyses for all facilities.
• Design and implement pipeline‑by‑pipeline, station‑by‑station, and zone‑by‑zone mitigation schemes.
• Oversee inline inspection (ILI), direct assessment, data evaluation, corrosion monitoring, maintenance, repairs, and risk mitigation activities.
• Manage collection, structuring, analysis, and reporting of integrity‑related data.
• Organise technical training for integrity personnel and conduct internal supervision, field inspections, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure integration of integrity management systems with digital and intelligent pipeline construction requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Oil & Gas Transportation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in pipeline engineering, asset integrity management, corrosion control, or internal inspection.
• Professional certifications such as NACE/AMPP or API are preferred.
• Familiarity with QHSE regulations and ability to follow technical directives.
