Consultant(e) national(e) – Formateur pour atelier de recherche‑action

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a national consultant to design, facilitate and document a five‑day training workshop for IND‑RAP staff on action‑research methodology applied to the education sector in Niger. The assignment is for three months and will be carried out through a mix of remote work and on‑site sessions at IND‑RAP offices in Niamey.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical materials and tools for the workshop.
• Facilitate participatory sessions, ensuring active engagement of participants.
• Document the workshop outcomes and produce a comprehensive report.
• Develop pedagogical tools and guidelines for future use.
• Coordinate with IND‑RAP officials and relevant education partners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in education sciences, pedagogy, educational research, social sciences or a related field.
• Minimum eight years of professional experience in training, research or pedagogical experimentation in education.
• Demonstrated expertise in action‑research methodology, qualitative and quantitative research, and analysis of educational issues.
• Experience working with public institutions, ministries of education or international partners.
• Excellent written and spoken French.
