Department Manager

About the role

The Department Manager will lead a boutique floor, embodying Tory Burch’s core values while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role combines team leadership, sales performance, and deep product knowledge to drive both individual and store success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example, modeling behavior that reflects company values and fostering a positive, fun, and professional atmosphere.
• Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and personal goals, acting as the transformational leader of the floor.
• Ensure a high level of customer service through extensive product knowledge and ownership of the customer journey.
• Partner with the General Manager and Assistant GM to cascade corporate information and run value‑add team meetings.
• Provide consistent training and coaching to sales associates, creating a highly productive selling environment.
• Customize the boutique experience for the local customer demographic and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to inspire and develop a team.
• Deep understanding of luxury fashion and product ownership.
