Marketing Manager

About the role

Wave is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead both Above-the-Line (ATL) and Below-the-Line (BTL) activities, driving user growth and brand awareness across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement ATL and BTL marketing strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Plan, execute, and oversee TV, radio, print, events, promotions, and on‑ground activations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage external agencies to deliver impactful campaigns.
• Monitor performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing marketing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
• 6+ years of marketing experience with proven ATL and BTL campaign results.
• Strong project management, analytical, and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Fluent in French, English, and one local language.
• Leadership qualities to inspire and develop a young team.
