Child Protection Officer – Violence Against Children (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Child Protection Officer will support UNICEF’s country programme in Niger by providing technical, operational and administrative assistance for child protection initiatives, especially those addressing violence against children and justice issues. The role reports to the Child Protection Specialist and contributes throughout the programme cycle, from planning to results delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development, planning and implementation of child protection programmes and projects.
• Prepare, execute and manage technical and administrative tasks to ensure programme progress.
• Monitor programme performance, evaluate outcomes and prepare reporting documentation.
• Provide operational support to programme implementation, including networking and partnership building.
• Contribute to innovation and knowledge sharing within the child protection sector.
