YouTube Strategist – Remote Full‑Time/Contract

About the role

We are looking for a data‑driven YouTube Strategist to own and scale our channel presence. Working remotely, you will shape the end‑to‑end video content pipeline, drive audience growth, and turn the channel into a high‑performing engine for brand awareness and measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term YouTube content strategies aligned with business goals, optimizing for search and suggested video algorithms.
• Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to identify trending topics and high‑value content opportunities.
• Guide writers, videographers, and editors to ensure each video serves a strategic purpose, overseeing titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for maximum CTR.
• Monitor key metrics (retention, watch time, subscriber growth) using YouTube Studio and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and streamline production workflows for consistent, high‑quality output.
• Collaborate with social media, paid ads, and product marketing teams to integrate YouTube videos across the marketing ecosystem.
• Identify and pursue monetization opportunities, brand sponsorships, and merchandise integrations where appropriate.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record of growing YouTube channels, supported by a portfolio or case studies.
• Deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of the YouTube algorithm, SEO best practices, and community guidelines.
• Strong ability to interpret YouTube Analytics data and turn it into actionable content strategies.
• Excellent storytelling sense, visual branding, and communication skills for briefing creative teams.
