Strategy & Integrated Programs Director – Niamey

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Strategy & Integrated Programs Director to lead the implementation of its global strategy in Niger. Based in Niamey, you will guide program delivery, strengthen partnerships, and ensure the holistic wellbeing of children, families and communities across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of World Vision Niger’s Strategy and Integrated Programme model in line with global priorities.
• Manage internal and external relationships with donors, government agencies, sector networks and partner organisations.
• Oversee program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation to achieve measurable impact for vulnerable children.
• Drive operational effectiveness, innovation and sustainability through transformational leadership.
• Ensure compliance with World Vision policies, standards and accountability frameworks.
• Prepare and submit proposals to development agencies and manage business continuity and crisis response plans.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Social Project Management, Local Development Management, Programme and Project Management, Social Policies, Human Rights or Children’s Rights.
• Minimum five years of experience in senior program or project management roles within the development sector.
• Proven ability to influence decision‑making, negotiate and build strategic partnerships.
• Strong analytical, synthesis and long‑term strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Windows operating system.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
