Senior Recruiter (Niamey, Niger)

About the role

Wave is expanding its operations in Niger and needs a mission‑driven Senior Recruiter to lead hiring for leadership and business‑critical roles. You will own the full recruitment cycle, shape sourcing strategies for the local market, and help build a data‑driven talent function.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for a wide range of positions, with a focus on senior and critical hires.
• Design and execute sourcing strategies tailored to the Niger market while contributing to regional pipelines.
• Partner with hiring managers to define hiring plans, ensure fast and high‑quality hires, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes, identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
• Use data and analytics to monitor pipeline health, optimize hiring funnels, and provide insights.
• Maintain accurate data in Greenhouse ATS for reporting and decision‑making.
• Develop inclusive hiring practices to build diverse, high‑performing teams.
• Mentor junior recruiters and help grow the regional talent function.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle recruitment, preferably in fast‑growing environments.
• Strong ability to partner with hiring managers and influence hiring decisions.
• Data‑oriented mindset with experience tracking metrics and improving processes.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for Wave’s mission.
• Work authorization for Niger and willingness to travel locally.
