Senior Portfolio Manager – NTD Programs

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversight across CBM’s multi‑country NTD donor portfolio. In this senior role you will work with country programmes and global teams to strengthen portfolio performance, ensure effective grant management and donor compliance, and build strong relationships with institutional donors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead grant management and donor compliance across the multi‑country NTD portfolio, including quality assurance of budgets, workplans, procurement plans and donor reports.
• Oversee sub‑award management, monitor portfolio‑wide compliance, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure consistent grant management practices.
• Monitor portfolio performance, budget utilisation and delivery against milestones, providing financial oversight and risk management.
• Manage donor relationships and serve as the primary programme interface with institutional donors and secretariats.
• Coordinate grant compliance and portfolio management across country teams and internal functions.

Required profile

• Relevant academic degree in international development, public health or a related field.
• Substantial experience in grants management within multi‑country, donor‑funded health or development programmes.
• Experience with institutional donor compliance frameworks at portfolio level.
• Strong working knowledge of the NTD landscape and major global health donors.
• Professional proficiency in English and French and ability to work across time zones.
