About the role

CURE International is seeking an experienced pediatrician to join its children’s hospital in Niamey, Niger. The role combines high‑quality medical care with the organization’s mission to provide physical and spiritual healing for children with disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pediatric medical services, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up care.
• Perform surgical interventions for severe orthopedic conditions, burn sequelae, cleft lip‑palate and related disabilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care that addresses both physical and spiritual needs.
• Participate in training programs for local health professionals and support advocacy for the rights of children with disabilities.
• Uphold CURE’s core values in daily interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Required profile

• Licensed pediatrician with several years of clinical experience, preferably in low‑resource settings.
• Commitment to Christian values and the ability to integrate spiritual care into practice.
• Compassionate, trustworthy, and able to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to serve children with complex medical needs and to engage in community outreach.
