Consultant(e) national(e) – Formateur atelier recherche-action

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a national consultant to design and deliver a five‑day training workshop for INDRAP staff on action‑research methodology applied to the education sector in Niger. The assignment combines remote preparation with on‑site facilitation at INDRAP offices in Niamey.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical materials and tools for a five‑day action‑research training.
• Facilitate participatory sessions, ensuring active engagement of senior education officials and partners.
• Document workshop outcomes, produce a final report and practical pedagogical tools.
• Provide follow‑up guidance to participants on applying the methodology in their projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in education sciences, pedagogy, social sciences or a related field.
• At least eight years of professional experience in delivering training, conducting educational research, or leading pedagogical experiments.
• Proven experience working with public education institutions, ministries or international partners.
• Fluent in written and spoken French.
