National Consultant – Trainer for IND RAP Action Research Workshop

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a National Consultant to design and facilitate a five‑day training workshop for IND RAP staff and partners in Niamey, Niger. The consultant will lead participants through the principles and practice of action‑research methodology applied to the education sector.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical materials and training agenda based on the Terms of Reference.
• Deliver interactive, participatory sessions over five days, both remotely and on‑site at IND RAP offices.
• Document workshop outcomes, produce reports and develop practical tools for participants.
• Provide follow‑up guidance to ensure the adoption of action‑research methods in ongoing projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in education, pedagogy, social sciences or related field.
• At least eight years of professional experience in training, research or educational experimentation.
• Proven experience with action‑research, qualitative and quantitative methods, and problem analysis in education.
• Demonstrated ability to work with public institutions, ministries of education and development partners.
• Fluent written and spoken French.
